Britney Spears has dispelled rumors of a new album, stating on Instagram that she will not return to the music industry. Despite writing songs for fun and ghostwriting over 20 songs for other artists in the last two years, Spears emphasizes her focus isn’t on a music comeback.
In her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” Spears describes how her conservatorship negatively impacted her music career. She expresses a desire to find her true self, moving away from the expectations of others. Representatives for Spears have not yet commented on these statements.
