Indie rock supergroup boygenius, featuring Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, recently captivated listeners with a soulful cover of Shania Twain’s ’90s hit “You’re Still the One” at the BBC Radio 1 studio.
Known for blending their voices in haunting harmonies, the trio brought a fresh, emotive twist to the classic, adding to their repertoire of country-influenced renditions. The group’s successful year includes their debut album, “The Record,” and the follow-up EP “The Rest.”
With seven Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance, boygenius continues to rise as a formidable force in the indie music scene. Their Grammy presence at the 2024 ceremony is highly anticipated.
