Marvel Studios has ended its collaboration with Jonathan Majors, who portrayed Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after his conviction for harassment and assault. Majors faced legal issues stemming from an incident involving his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Despite being acquitted on one assault charge, he was found guilty of two misdemeanors. This conviction led to professional repercussions, including being dropped by his talent manager and publicity firm, and the removal from several film projects.
Marvel now faces the challenge of either recasting Kang or reshaping their Multiverse Saga storyline, a significant creative and financial decision for the franchise.
