Nashville is gearing up for a New Year’s Eve extravaganza like no other. “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash,” set to broadcast live on CBS, promises an unforgettable night with a star-studded lineup including Morgan Wallen, Old Dominion, Kane Brown, and more. The highlight of the event is the iconic music note drop, a unique Nashville tradition, symbolizing the city’s deep-rooted musical heritage.
This vibrant celebration, hosted by Elle King and Rachel Smith, is not just about the music. It’s a full-fledged party showcasing Nashville’s thriving music community. Executive producers Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington, in partnership with Music City Inc., have focused on catering to country music fans, ensuring a mix of hits, new songs, and exciting collaborations.
The event, returning to CBS in a new multi-year deal, will broadcast live from Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. The free public event will feature additional performances from various Nashville venues, including Monday Night Brewing Co. and Brooklyn Bowl, bringing the city’s electric atmosphere to viewers nationwide.
With a meticulous production involving over 300 crew members, the event is a testament to Nashville’s capability to host grand-scale events.
