Over 32 million Americans are living with potentially life-threatening food allergies. During Food Allergy Awareness Week, which is May 14-20, 2023, the Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) organization wants to bring the food-allergic community together to share their stories and raise awareness.
FARE asks everyone, whether they have food allergies or not, to participate by sharing your food allergy story and using the hashtag #AllergyAlly.
FARE’s mission is to improve the quality of life and health of those with food allergies through transformative research, education, and advocacy. FARE has turned over $100 million in donor gifts into ground-breaking research and has provided a voice for the community, advocating on behalf of more than 85 million Americans living with life-threatening food allergies and intolerances.
Being a Food Allergy Ally means being part of a community that supports and uplifts those with food allergies. By showing your support and understanding, you can help create a more inclusive and compassionate world for all.
So, whether you have food allergies, know someone with food allergies or simply want to make a positive impact, we invite you to become a Food Allergy Ally and join us in promoting awareness, education, and support for those with food allergies.
