Singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt has announced the postponement of several upcoming shows due to an undisclosed medical situation. In a statement on her social media accounts, Raitt said that she is “deeply sorry” for the inconvenience caused by the postponements but that she needs “a little more time to heal and to regain my strength”.
Raitt did not disclose the nature of her medical situation but thanked her fans for their love and support during this time. She assured them that she is working with her medical team to get back to performing as soon as possible.
The affected shows were part of Raitt’s ongoing tour, which has already seen her play numerous dates across the United States. Fans who had purchased tickets for the postponed shows have been advised to hold on to them, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
