Kyle Larson took home his second win of the 2023 season on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway. Larson led 162 of the 500 laps, making a statement to his competitors and proving that he is a top contender for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. The win moves Larson up to fourth place in the driver standings, with two wins, eight top-five finishes, and ten top-ten finishes in 2023.
Larson’s victory also marked the fifth win of the season for Hendrick Motorsports, with all four of their drivers winning at least one race in 2023. Hendrick Motorsports has been on a hot streak this season, dominating the competition and setting themselves up as the team to beat.
The NASCAR Cup Series now heads to Talladega Superspeedway next weekend, where Larson will look to continue his winning ways and solidify his spot as a championship contender. With a strong performance and consistency throughout the season, Larson has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in the world of NASCAR.
