Hot on the heels of its successful relaunch of the Shamrock Shake, McDonald’s newest menu item is as colorful as spring and perfect for the warmer weather. The new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry features creamy vanilla soft serve with strawberry flavored clusters and crispy, buttery shortbread cookies.
The fast-food restaurant confirmed the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry will be available starting on April 12 on its Sweets and Treats menu, but only for a limited-time.
If you want to make sure you get one, according to the McDonald’s website, they recommend ordering the new soft serve treat at a participating location using the McDonald’s app, since there will be a limited supply at its restaurants.
“We are excited to give customers a new way to enjoy the classic dessert they crave this spring by adding the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry to our menu for a limited time,” said Lindsay Rainey, McDonald’s USA spokeswoman.
