Emma Bunton, a singer, songwriter, and author recently opened up about the early days of the Spice Girls and their mission to bring change to the music industry. Stating that the core of the music group was built upon Girl Power.
She still encourages Girl Power today via a partnership with Amazon, in order to donate $10,000 dollars to the Lower Eastside Girls Club. She also collaborated with Amazon for a children’s book titled, “Uncle Jay’s Dream Team.” A story about a young girl named “Avery” who plays soccer and learns the value of teamwork.
