Usher has finally revealed the release date for his latest single, “Glu.” It is going to be released today, March 17th. He shared the release date via a 14 second long Instagram reel.
“Glu” was initially teased back on Valentine’s Day along with a sneak peek of a music video showing model and businesswoman Lori Harvey. The track is also the first piece of music that he has released this year, and the first proper single he has had in three years, following 2020’s “Bad Habits.”
Usher’s upcoming album is highly anticipated and was initially teased as being Confessions 2, a sequel to his 2004 diamond selling album. The album has been worked on for at least four years now. He told USA Today back in August of 2022 that, “It’s coming real soon. I’ve actually finished it, and I’m now going through the process of sequencing it and naming it.”
Meanwhile, Usher is set to perform at several festivals this year on top of his Las Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The residency will come to an end later this Fall.
