Jill Biden, the First Lady, is going to be hosting an international women of courage award ceremony that will take place at the White House on March 8th, the same day as International Women’s Day.
The event will be hosted by both First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken for the 17th annual international women of courage award ceremony. This year will mark the very first time that the event will be held at the White House, Since it began, the ceremony has recognized over 180 women from over 80 countries.
It will take place at the White House for the first time in the award’s history. Since 2007, the Department of State has recognized more than 180 women from over 80 countries.
