Conner Smith recently had a party at the lake with his sweetheart and his friends in his new single, “Creek Will Rise.” The track is composed by Smith, Chris LaCorte, Chase McGill, and Parker Welling, while the song itself is asking for a rise in the creek to savor the moments he has with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, the music video for the track shows off all the fun you can have on a lake, including a bonfire, riding down a dirt road, fresh caught crawfish, and the music video was even directed by Smith’s brother and creative director, Cooper Smith.
Smith stated of his summer track, “I’ve never been more excited for a song to come out. ‘Creek Will Rise’ has already taken my live show to a new level and feels like the start of the next chapter of my music, This music video is special to me because it is an adventure that my best friend, my brother, and I took down in Louisiana. It brings the energy of the song to life visually and I’m so happy to have that memory captured as the video for this song.”
Smith is currently on the road for his debut headlining tour. The If I Went to College Tour includes dates in Georgia, Mississippi, Los Angeles, and Nashville, with support from Jonathon Hutcherson and Mackenzie Carpenter. Smith will also be joining Chase Rice on tour next month, before he spends time with Luke Bryan for his Country On Tour.
In the meantime, “Creek Will Rise” is set for release on Country Music Radio later on in the Spring.
