Travis Barker Breaks His Finger Prior To Blink-182 Reunion Tour

Travis Barker is supposed to have a Blink-182 reunion starting on March 11th in Tijuana, Mexico and he just smashed his finger so hard that he dislocated it and tore some ligaments. Barker posted an Instagram Story on Sunday where he showed off his swollen and bruised ring finger, with what looked like a giant bump on his middle knuckle.

Travis barker confirmed the news in his Instagram Story on Monday, as he posted two x-ray images of his left middle finger that shows a serious injury on the ring finger. A spokesperson for Blink-182 has not replied to additional questions regarding the injury.

Back in January, DeLonge teased that the new music they have made is “the best album we’ve ever made.” Adding that, “I’m personally tripping and so proud of what we have created TOGETHER. As one unified force of fun, eternal youth, and most of all- close friends.”

DeLonge re-joined the band in 2022 after leaving for a second time in 2014, tagged his bandmates in his post about the eagerly awaited follow up to their 2019 album, Nine. A release date and title for the new album the band has made has still not been announced, but the collection’s first single, “Edging,” has been huge so far at alternative radio.

Meanwhile, Blink-182’s world tour is set to start on March 11th in Tijuana, Mexico at the Imperial GNP festival. The dates will end with a July 16th performance in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena before the band moves on to Europe in September and Australia/ New Zealand in early 2024.
