Brandi Carlile and Luke Combs are going to be representing the Country and Americana genres at the 2023 Grammy Awards. They will both be performing during the show along with stars from other genres. Performers for the night will also include Lizzo and Sam Smith, Bad Bunny, R&B icon Mary J. Blige, Steve Lacy, and Kim Petras. All of those performing are also nominees at this year’s ceremony.
In both the Country and Americana categories, Carlile is the most nominated, with a total of seven mentions at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Meanwhile, Combs is coming into the Grammy Awards with three nominations this year including Best Country Song (for “Doin’ This”), Best Country Album (Growin’ Up) and Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” a duet with three-time Grammy winner Miranda Lambert).
The Grammy Awards will be taking place on February fifth at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. While Trevor Noah is set to host the show that is airing on CBS starting at 8PM PT/5PM ET.
