Blue Ivy, Beyoncé‘s 11-year-old daughter, recently went on stage with her mother for a Dubai performance on Saturday, January 21st. Beyoncé introduced her in saying, “Where are all my brown skin girls? Give it up for my baby, my brown skin girl, Miss Blue Ivy Carter.” The event took place at a new luxury hotel, The Atlantis Royal where the icon put on a 75 minute long performance for the invite only event.
The track the pair performed together, “Brown Skin Girl,” is Blue Ivy’s Grammy-winning collaboration with her mother, with it’s video winning best music video award just last year. Jay-Z and her children were there along with other family in Tina Knowles-Lawson and Mathew Knowles.
Beyoncé announced to the crowd, “My beautiful children are here to see their mom perform.” Several celebrities were in attendance with names such as Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Liam Payne, Chloe x Halle, Bar Refaeli and Swedish House Mafia.
Some of the tracks she performed included, “Crazy In Love,” “Countdown” and “Naughty Girl,” plus “Halo,” “XO,” “Be Alive,” “Freedom,” “Spirit,” “Otherside,” “Bigger” and “Naughty Girl.” While the show concluded with the legendary performer dancing in water and singing “Drunk In Love” as fireworks went off.
