Taylor Swift’s cat is apparently one of the richest pets in the world. The Pet Rich List, has the cat named, Olivia Benson, as being worth $97 million, which makes her the third richest pet in the world. The website says that, “The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers.”
The cat also made a cameo appearance in the official video for Swift’s 1989 single “Blank Space” and was also featured in an AT&T advertisement along with Swift. The cat is named Oliva Benson, after the “Law & Order: SVU” character that is portrayed by Mariska Hargitay.
Meanwhile, the number one spot for rich pets is taken by a German Shephard called Gunther VI, who is owned by the Gunther Corporation and is worth $500 million. The number two spot is taken by Nala Cat, a feline that has more than 4 million followers on Instagram and is worth a reported $100 million.
