On Wednesday, January fourth, Skrillex released a new single, a collaboration with Fred again.. and UK grime MC Flowdan. The track uses elements of grime and bass as well as using electronic sound design that is Skrillex’s signature style.
The track was first played in a series of 2022 sets from Fred Again.., including during his record setting Boiler Room show back in July. Skrillex also made an announcement about a collaborative single along with PinkPantheress and Trippie Redd that got released today.
Both tracks are expected to be from Skrillex’s double album, that he teased on New Year’s Day. It will be his first solo LP since his 2014 Recess, that peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in April of 2014.
