Midway through the second annual Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, Miley Cyrus announced her new track “Flowers,” and that it would arrive on January 13th. The announcement came after Miley teased with posters across various cities that read: New Year New Miley. There was also a 17 second clip that teased the music video, which show Miley in a metallic gold outfit and shades walking uphill. Later on, a second teaser showed Miley in a bathing suit walking through sprinklers, this one lasting 13 seconds.
On top of her NYE celebration, she celebrated her “new Miley Era” with guests featured throughout the special including, David Byrne, Latto, Sia, Rae Sremmurd, Fletcher and others. Miley Cyrus also began a countdown on her site with more announcements to come throughout the week.
