Miley Cyrus just teased that changes are on their way via social media on Monday, December 19th, and fans are hoping that it means new music is on its way. Miley Cyrus captioned a video of a cryptic roadside sign in Los Angeles, “NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY,” the sign also had the words “NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY.”
Fans in the comments quickly speculated what her post means with one writing, “Give us a sign if new song is coming sooner than we think Miley.” Another wrote, “DOES THIS MEAN A TOUR?!!!” Miley also started a countdown clock on her website, that is set to count down to the stroke of midnight on January first, 2023. At the time she will be hosting NBC’s New Year’s Eve special with her godmother Dolly Parton.
Miley’s most recent studio album was 2020’s Plastic Hearts, that debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Rock Albums chart. On top of that, earlier this year, she released her third live album titled, Attention: Miley Live.
