Kane Brown originally cut his 2017 single “Heaven,” he like the song because it reminded himself of his own love story with his now wife Katelyn. However, since then the ballad has become an anthem for couples and at a recent Vancouver tour stop on Thursday, December 15th, the song was performed as an older couple took to the stage for a dance.
Brown led his fans in a sing along serenade to the couple, that slow-danced to “Heaven.” The singer smiled from the corner of the stage applauding with the crowd as the song ended.
Kane Brown’s Vancouver show was for his Drunk or Dreaming Tour, which is an international tour that has kept him busy this year. He is set to travel on a U.S. portion that starts in mid-March and has opening acts such as Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett and LoCash.
Brown often gets inspiration for his songs from his own love life. Recently, his wife Katelyn joined him as duet partner. The pair have started going up on stage together to perform “Thank God,” Brown’s current single from his album Different Man.
