Ari Lennox announced the opening acts for her headlining age/sex/location Tour, and she will be joined by Alex Vaughn and Jai’Len Josey for the tour. Lennox wrote on Instagram along with a flyer that is made up of sold out dates and new dates, “Excited to bring these sangin angels on tour with me @jailenjosey and @alexvaughn. See y’all soon.”
Vaughn made a post of her own saying, “Y’all I’m going on my first ever tour w the beautifulllll @arilennox I am beyond honored.” With Josey Sharing, “I’m going on my first tour ever, and I’m so thankful to God first & always @arilennox.”
Josey received a co-writing credit for Lennox’s hit single “Pressure,” that topped Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart back in February marking Lennox’s first number one single. The song is also certified gold and the lead single off of Lennox’s sophomore album age/sex/location.
Meanwhile, in October, Vaughn shared her debut project, The Hurtbook, through LVRN/Interscope Records. Vaughn explained that, “The project started off as a compilation of thoughts from an old relationship but grew into a quilted map of patterns and events that applied to more than just romance, It’s about being honest with yourself and how you feel about those changes that are happening. Most importantly it’s a reminder that though these series of events may have hurt you, you are not broken.”
Lennox’s age/sex/location Tour is in support of her sophomore album of the same name. The follow-up to Lennox’s 2019 debut Shea Butter Baby that was released on September 9th through Dreamville/Interscope Records. Lennox also recently performed “Waste My Time” at the 2022 Soul Train Awards.
