Lauren Alaina Reveals A Surprise Engagement at Grand Ole Opry

On Sunday morning, November 20th, Lauren Alaina turned to Instagram in order to share the news of her surprise engagement that she announced at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, November 19th. Alaina’s Instagram post read, “BRIDE be dang’d, y’all. My best friend, @arnold.cam, asked me to marry him, and I announced it at my favorite place in the world, @opry, I didn’t know happiness and excitement like this existed. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Cameron Scott Arnold.”

Alaina also posted a series of pictures of herself and her husband to be at the Opry together, including pictures of her ring and a champagne toast. Carly Pearce was one of the first to congratulate her commenting, “OMG YES SO HAPPY,” with the Opry’s official account adding their own comment, “So happy for you, @laurenalaina, we love you!!!”

Alaina launched her career back in 2011, and was previously engaged in July of 2018 to her high school boyfriend, Alex Hopkins, before calling off the engagement and breaking up in January of 2019.

Recently in music, Alaina released her debut album, Wildflower, in 2011, however, she didn’t find much momentum until her number one single, “Road Less Traveled,” in 2016. She also grabbed number one hits with “What Ifs,” “One Beer,” and “Thinking ‘Bout You.”
