On Wednesday, November 9th, Mariah Carey captioned an Instagram video that showed herself lounging in her own screening room as she sips tea, “THE CROWN premiered last night and of course I had to have my own screening dahhlings!” “Seeeeee!” she said as she smiled and her track started to play.
Season five of The Crown, follows the British royal family’s lives through the 1990s, and will touch on events including the 1997 death of Princess Diana. It stars Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Leslie Manville, Dominic West, Jonny Lee Miller and Elizabeth Debicki.
“Emotions” achieved Mariah her fifth consecutive number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released. Carey also just released her new children’s book, The Christmas Princess, and is getting ready for her Merry Christmas to All! holiday shows in New York City and Toronto. The events will also be followed by a two hour primetime special on CBS.
