According to ratedrnb.com, Chlöe has recently announced “For The Night” as her next single from her highly anticipated debut album. The track is produced by London on da Track and is set for release on October 28th, through Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. The track will be accompanied by a video that co-stars comedian Druski.
“For the Night is following “Surprise,” which released back in June. Chlöe teased both songs during an Instagram Live in May. When she did that, she was polling her fans to see which song should release as the follow-up to “Treat Me,” that released in April. All three tracks, along with platinum selling single “Have Mercy,” will appear on her self-titled debut album. Unfortunately, there currently isn’t a release date set for the album.
Chlöe told Uproxx in an interview, “I am just so eager for the fans to hear the songs and the music, and I hope they love it when it finally comes out into the world,” While back in March Chlöe tweeted, “Guys… I tried to hold it in but I finished my album a couple weeks ago, I don’t control dates or anything, but just know I’m super proud of this project. It means absolutely everything to me.”
She is also the face of Pepsi’s new campaign for the re-launch of its Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop. When speaking on the subject Chlöe stated, “This collaboration with Pepsi is a dream come true. I’m so excited to partner with such an iconic brand with a rich history in music and follow in the footsteps of so many renowned female artists who have been part of the Pepsi family for decades,” As part of the campaign, Chlöe reimagined Kenny Loggins’ 1984 song “Footloose” from the film, Footloose. She added, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to re-create the fun, beloved track, ‘Footloose,’ through my creative lens and I hope everyone finds something to love in this modern take on a classic,”
