BTS’ Jin Announces A Solo Project and Upcoming Single

According to billboard.com, Jin of BTS will release a solo single soon, making him the second member to release a solo project since the K-pop group’s break. The news was announced from the stage on October 15th at the BTS “Yet to Come” concert in Busan, South Korea, which was livestreamed in partnership with Weverse. It was announced back in June, that the group would be taking a temporary break as members pursue solo projects.

Jin stated from the stage that, “I got the opportunity to work with someone I like, so a single will come out soon, I think we’re in a phase where we need your trust.”

Back in July, J-Hope announced an official solo project of his own, his album was titled “Jack in the Box.” The album was released on BTS’ label Big Hit Music, marking J-Hope’s first real studio album and featured singles “MORE.” and “Arson.”

Jimin also made a statement at Saturday’s performance saying, “Although it’s so sad that the concert is ending already, it’s not like we only have today. We will continue for 30 years … and even perform when we are 70 years old,” RM later added that, “All seven members have the same thoughts right now. We will continue to make and perform music if you give us your trust, like Jimin said.”
