According to hollywoodreporter.com, Kate Winslet is ready to get back to working after she had a hospital visit after a mishap while filming an upcoming project in Croatia. She was in the midst of shooting her role in the historical drama film Lee when an on set accident occurred and led to her being taken to a close by hospital to make sure that she was okay, her reps confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter along with the news that she will be returning to filming this week as scheduled. Her team stated, “Kate slipped and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production, She is fine and will be filming, as planned, this week.”
The 46 year old Oscar winner will be portraying photographer Lee Miller in the film that concentrates on her life, including her work as a war correspondent for Vogue during World War II. The movie is being directed by Ellen Kuras and also includes Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough, and Josh O’Connor. Winslet also has a role in the upcoming film, Avatar: The Way of Water, that was most recently seen on the small screen with HBO’s Mare of Easttown, that earned her an Emmy Award just last year. Other recent film credits include Ammonite, Blackbird and The Mountain Between Us.
