According to countrynow.com, Alan Jackson has issued a statement after having to abruptly postpone his Kansas City, Missouri concert on Saturday, August 27th. According to T-Mobile Center, jackson had tested positive for Covid-19 prior to the show. Jackson stated, “I’m so sorry I can’t be there tonight, I hate to disappoint my fans.” Organizers plan to reschedule the show, however, a new date hasn’t been chosen yet. All tickets for the original show will be honored at the rescheduled date. Alan Jackson is currently in the middle of his Last Call: One More For The Road Tour. The tour got started on June 24th at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. The tour is the first time that Jackson has went on a major tour since being diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder in fall of 2021.
The tour included 30 dates and will end on October 8th in Pittsburgh, PA at PPG Paints Arena. Jackson is also donating $1 of every ticket sold to the CMT Research Foundation, with the amount being matched by a group of CMTRF donors and board members. The country star is also becoming a first time grandfather as his youngest daughter Alexandra “Ali” Jane Jackson Bradshaw, is expecting her first child. Jackson’s next scheduled date for his tour will be September 9th at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. All tickets for his shows are available via alanjackson.com/last-call-tour.
