According to hollywoodreporter.com, Robyn Griggs, known for her roles in soap operas Another World and One Life to Live, has passed away at the age of 49 years old. Her death was announced via her Facebook page on Saturday, the actress had been battling cancer and was open about her health problems on social media in the past. Most recently, just last month Griggs posted that she had been diagnosed with four new tumors. Griggs originally debuted on One Life to Live in April of 1991 as Stephanie Hobart and in 1993 she played the role of Maggie Cory for two years on the show Another World. Griggs also starred in films such as Sever Injuries in 2003, Dead Clowns in 2004, The Absence of Light in2006, and Hellweek in 2010. When speaking with Call Me Adam in 2021 Griggs was quoted in saying that, “I think acting on the soaps taught me so much discipline, feel it helped me realize that I can give any role a go, as long as I took the time to understand that particular character.” Griggs ultimately was diagnosed with stage four endocervical adeno cancer in 2020 and had entered hospice care only days before passing away, according to her Facebook page.
