According to bigcountryhomepage.com, registration is open for the Sisters in Fire learning experience in Abilene, Texas. The event will be led by Texas’ top women leaders in wildlife firefighting. The single day camp is open to girls in grades 7th through 12th grade and the girl will be learning how to put out fires with engines and bulldozers, as well as, leadership and communication skills. The camp is scheduled to be held on October first at the City of Abilene Fire Department Training Facility from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
