Blondie Cancels One Show and Postpones Another

According to regionalmedianews.com, Blondie was supposed to perform on Wednesday night at the Paramount theater located in Huntington, New York, however, the show was postponed, “[o]ut of an abundance of caution due to a recent positive COVID test,” according to a post from the band’s social media accounts. The postponed show, has since been moved to August 31st, with a new show being added at the same venue on September first. Another scheduled date set for August 12th at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, which would have marked the start of a new leg of Blondie’s Against the Odds Tour has been cancelled with tickets for the show being refunded within 30 days. The tour will now kick off on August 14th, at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston instead. Recently, Blondie started a contest offering a chance to win one of 30 prints of photos of singer Debbie Harry that have been taken by guitarist Chris Stein and will all be signed by both Stein and Harry.
