According to dailymail.co.uk, Elton John recently dedicated his iconic ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’, to the late George Michael while performing at his British Summer Time set. The 75 year old performer, introduced the track while saying that he misses the singer, who helped make for a second wave of success for the song in his version alongside Elton John. George was found dead in his bed by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, an autopsy later found the cause of death to be heart disease. While introducing the song, Elton stated that, ‘I miss him, and we all miss him, and we miss his visage. So, George, I love you and I miss you – here we go.’ The song’s original version was written by Elton John and his long time lyricist Bernie Taupin and released in 1974.
