The Tampa Bay Lightning needed to put on a clinic in game three of the Stanley Cup Final and that’s just what they did. The Lightning dominated in game three, scoring four times in the second period alone, leading to a final score for the team of 6-2 a win that was desperately needed. On the Lightning there were five different players that had a two point performance, along with an impressive 34 saves from Andrei Vasilevskiy. However, the second period is what really did it for them with the Lightning’s Steven Stamkos, Pat Maroon, and Corey Perry all scoring goals to make the game out of reach for the Colorado Avalanche. Game four of the Stanley Cup Finals will be taking place this Wednesday, the 22nd.
