Post Malone May Record A Country Album

It is well documented how much of a fan of Country music Post Malone is , he grew up near Dallas and often covers songs such as Johnny Cash’s “Cocaine Blues” at his shows. The artist has also uploaded covers of country songs to Youtube in the past and covered songs like Brad Paisley’s “I’m gonna Miss Her” on Matthew McConaughey’s “We’re Texas” Virtual Concert. Post Malone recently had a discussion with Howard Stern where he discussed the topic and had this to say, “To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album on YouTube. I’m allowed to do that, I’m a human being.”. When asked by Stern why he hasn’t done just that, Post Malone responded in saying, “I split my time between a lot of different things because I am happily obligated to do concerts and show love to my fans and then I’m happily obligated to write music and make beats by myself, and I’m happily obligated to, you know, take care of my family. So, it’s a lot of time, and it’s about finding that space to allot that time.” It sounds a lot like once the talented artist and family man gets enough time to himself he will go all in on making a country album.
