At Corcoran high School in Syracuse New York the top 10 seniors this year are all female. Skylar Bush, one of the seniors says “I Wasn’t surprised, I know these girls, I’ve known them for four years, I know how smart and talented and determined they are, it wasn’t shocking, it wasn’t surprising.” Many of the girl had decided on attempting to be in the top ten for their senior year, showing their ambitious nature. Another ambitious young woman and top senior Nour Shqair stated, “I think definitely even in this day and age we’re still underestimated and for the top 10 to just be solid females was kind of cool”. This is definitely something to be proud of and something that will go down in the books as an impressive feat. These seniors are young , determined, and these ambitious women are Looking for their next steps at top tier colleges such as Cornell University, Niagara University, Syracuse University Colgate University, and Williams College.
