Jim Seals from the rock duo Seals and Crofts has passed away at 80 years old. He was behind classic hits like Summer breeze from the 1970’s. His family confirmed that the singer died in his home in Nashville on Monday. They weren’t specific, however, the family did state there was a “chronic illness” involved in his death. Between 1972 and 1976 Seals and Dash had five gold albums including their most popular song, Summer Breeze. The 1972 Track sold more than one million copies in the US, climbing all the way into the number six spot of the Billboard Top 100 that year. Jim seals is survived by his wife Rudy and their three children. He also has two siblings still alive, a brother and a sister honoring his legacy.
