Friday Movie Release: “Ambulance,” “Sonic the Hedgehog 2”

This Friday offers a movie trip for little ones and action-loving adults!

Two desperate brothers attempt a robbery in order to pay for their dying mother’s health care in Michael Bay’s Ambulance. The job goes south and during their escape, they steal an ambulance. But things only get worse when they discover it’s occupied by a dying heart patient. This action-packed, thrilling film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Yayha Abdul-Mateen II, Eiza González, Jesse Garcia, Victor Gojcaj, Garret Dillahunt, A Martinez, Keir O’Donnell, Moses Ingram, and more. It is rated R for intense violence, bloody images, and language throughout.

The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands. Directed by Jeff Fowler, this Sonic sequel stars Jim Carrey, Idris Elba, James Marsden, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey. It is rated PG for action, some violence, rude humor, and mild language.
