Amy Schumer Authentically Opens Up About Motherhood: “In Love and Scared”

Amy Schumer has recently opened up about motherhood in the most relatable way.

The Emmy-winner took to social media to share her rollercoaster of mom feelings, sharing a photo of herself and her two-and-a-half-year-old son Gene David.

“Being his mom is heaven on earth and also means a constant feeling of guilt and vulnerability I will never get used to,” Schumer wrote in the caption. “Your heart feels like it’s outside your body and you’re too old to drink the feelings away like you used to. When you were in love and scared. Send help!!!”

Many of Schumer’s celebrity parent friends resonated with her words.
“Amen,” wrote America Ferrera. “Perfectly said and helpful to hear,” Ilana Glazer commented.
“Yep, that’s exactly how it is and feels. It’s beautiful and terrifying,” Tan France added, in addition to a flurry of other comments reveling in the authenticity of Schumer’s share.
The actress, 40, welcomed her first child in May of 2019 with her husband Chris Fischer.
