Silk Sonic, which is made up of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, is the latest music act to jump into the world of Fornite and online gaming.
Epic Games, the company behind the highly-popular multi-player game, just revealed the collaboration with Silk Sonic. According to the announcement, the R&B duo will debut in Fornite’s Icon Series at 4 PM PT on February 10th.
As part of the game, Silk Sonic will inspire a number of items, outfits, and a themed “Silk Sonic Cup” which is set to take place on Monday, February 7th, giving players the chance to unlock these features early.
Mars and .Paak have also partnered with Fortnite to launch “a brand-new in0game radio station” called Icon Radio. According to Epic’s announcement, fans can “listen to Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, and the one and only Bootsy Collins as their host.”
The Icon Series “brings the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators to Fortnite, building on previous collaborations with Marshmello and Major Lazer,” and initially debuted back in January of 2020.
