Friday’s Movie Release: The French Dispatch, Dune

This Friday, Timothée Chalamet will run the box office with the arrival of two films Dune and The French Dispatch

Wes Anderson’s tenth installment, The French Dispatch, has been referred to as “a love letter to journalists” bringing to life a collection of stories published in “The French Dispatch Magazine.” The film, starring Benicio Del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Sinton, Timothée Chalamet, Frances McDormand, and many others, takes place in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional twentieth-century French city where the stories, and their eccentric characters, unfold in signature, uniquely-aesthetic Wes Anderson fashion.

Also starring Chalamet, Dune is a highly-anticipated adaptation of Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel of the same title, in which the brilliant and gifted son of a noble family is entrusted with the protection of the most valuable and vital element in the galaxy. This PG-13 action-adventure flick directed by Denis Villeneuve is scored by Hans Zimmer, and also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Jason Mamoa, Josh Brolin, and many other notable faces.

Both Dune and The French Dispatch have an official release date of October 22nd.
