Tampa Bay Buccaneers Still Hold 1st Place, The Los Angeles Dodgers Move on to Face The Braves

On Thursday Night Football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 28-22. Tom Brady led a potent Bucs offense, going 34/42 and throwing two touchdown passes. The running game was also highly effective for the Bucs, as Leonard Fournette rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Tampa Bay continues to sit in 1st place in the NFC South.

In baseball news, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants 2-1 last night. Game 5 of the National League Division Series was a low-scoring affair, as the game was a 1-1 tie until the ninth inning when Cody Bellinger hit an RBI single to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead. Star pitcher, Max Scherzer, came out in the bottom of the ninth inning to close out the last three Giants hitters. By beating the Giants, the Dodgers advance to the NLCS to face the Atlanta Braves, starting on October 16th.
