49ers’ Keion White Shot at San Francisco Nightclub, Recovering After Surgery

San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White is recovering after being shot in the ankle during a private party held at Dahlia’s nightclub. The incident occurred amidst Super Bowl festivities and followed a reported verbal dispute involving rapper Lil Baby, who was in the city for a separate event.

White, who shared an update on Instagram, assured fans that he had undergone successful surgery and remains optimistic about his recovery. “Full steam ahead,” he wrote, signaling his commitment to a strong off-season comeback.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find White wounded but conscious. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where his injuries were treated and deemed non-life-threatening. Authorities confirmed that the altercation occurred inside the venue between two groups and that the shooter has yet to be identified.

While speculation has arisen around the nature of the dispute, Lil Baby has not commented, and there is no confirmed connection between the artist and the shooting itself. Law enforcement is currently pursuing several leads.

Mayor Daniel Lurie emphasized that violence of any kind is unacceptable in the city. “We are all grateful to our SFPD officers for their quick response,” he stated, adding that he has been in contact with both the police department and 49ers leadership.

White, who had attended Super Bowl LX where the Seahawks triumphed over the Patriots, is expected to make a full recovery. His resilience and focus remain unwavering as the team looks toward the next NFL season.
