2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Include Dolly Parton, Eminem, Lionel Richie, Many More

Yesterday came the announcement of the 2022 nominations for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, featuring a long list of some of music’s most beloved names across all genres.

To be eligible for this year’s class of inductees, artists or bands have to have released their first commercial recording by 1996. In addition to ballots from more than a thousand artists, historians, and music industry members from all over, the chosen musicians will also be decided by fan votes submitted online.

“This year’s ballot recognizes a diverse group of incredible artists, each who has had a profound impact on the sound of youth culture,” said the head of the Rock Hall Foundation, John Sykes.

Nominees and music fans around the world will find out who will be enshrined at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, in May of this year.
