2022 NBA Playoffs: Nets Eliminated on Monday Night

The NBA playoffs continue with an exciting Monday night, featuring the first team eliminated from contention.

The Boston Celtics eliminated the Brooklyn Nets, after a 116-112 victory last night. The Nets appeared to be a threat in the East with star players like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but the balanced Celtics were too much for Brooklyn. The Celtics won the series 4-0, led by a vicious offensive attack from Jayson Tatum, who scored 29 points last night.

The Toronto Raptors continue to stay alive after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers in game 5 last night, 103-88 being the final score. The Raptors have clawed back after being down 3-0 in the series, but the combined efforts of Toronto continue to impress by pushing back on the powerhouse 76ers.

Finally last night, the Dallas Mavericks demolished the Utah Jazz, 102-77. The Mavericks now take a 3-2 lead in the series as they move onto game 6. Star point guard Luka Doncic’s return after injury proved to be the key piece Dallas needed to regain their offensive mojo. Doncic went off last night by scoring 33 points.
