Broadway’s Tony Awards were held last night in glimmering New York City, under the cloud of tragedy in Orlando. Hosting for the very first time, actor James Corden began the ceremony with a heartfelt message, acknowledging the suffering associated with the Orlando mass shooting. The academy did it’s best to honor the stars of Broadway while there were countless references to the tragedy through the night.
