12 years ago this week, Usher released one of the best R&B albums of the 2000s. His album, “Confessions,” was a hit across many different genres; it was that good. On March 23, 2004, pure gold was released with this album going on to sell over 20 million copies.
Usher would work with Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri as well as a few others to put “Confessions” together. Overall, there are just too many awards the album or songs on it would win, but we will list three big wins. The album would earn eight Grammy nominations, winning three of them. He took home these awards: Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group, Best Contemporary R&B Album, and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
Some of his biggest hits off the album include “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Burn.”
