Blondie is releasing their first box set ever on August 26th, the 124 track box set will be featuring 36 legendary Rockers, unissued recordings, and two volumes worth of liner notes, dozens of unpublished photographs, and a 120 page illustrated discography. The announcement states that all the tracks are remastered from the original analog tapes and come in multiple versions. The first being a super-deluxe collector’s edition, then a deluxe 4LP vinyl edition, and two separate deluxe CD editions. One edition includes 8-CD’s and the other only 3-CD’s. This will be the bands first box set in their 50 year span and will cover their entire first six studio albums. All six albums have been expanded to include the group’s first ever studio session along with alternate versions of songs. Making this box set a unique one worth pursuing.
