If you’re a Bob Dylan fan you’ll want to check out his latest video effort, ‘Bob Dylan on Tour in 1966,’ a new film released last week. The short film coincides with the release of his new box set “Bob Dylan: The 1966 Live Recordings.” Bob is a recent recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature.
One of America’s musical treasures, Tony Bennett turned 90 this year. To help celebrate Elton John, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, and a list of Hollywood ‘A’ stars taped a TV special at the Radio City Music Hall last week. The TV special is in conjunction with the release of his new album Tony Bennett Celebrates 90, due December 16. The NBC special is called, ‘Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come,’ and is scheduled for your television December 20th.
Speaking of Sir Elton John, his talents and compassion helped raise over $3 million dollars for “An Enduring Vision,” held at the ‘Cipriani’ in New York City. The event was hosted by Elton’s significant other husband, David Furnish. This is Elton’s 15th occurrence of the wonderful charity “An Enduring Vision.”
Just a reminder that ZZ Top released additional concert dates in early 2017 (February) for its ‘Tonnage’ Tour.
