Do you think Ringo Starr is old enough to be a great grandfather? Well, he is old enough! Recently, the news about his becoming an upcoming great grandchild was revealed when grandchild Tatia Starkey and love interest Adam delivered their son ‘Stone Zakamo Low’ on Aug. 14.
Former original Eagle Timothy B. Schmit has big news; he’s releasing his latest solo album called ‘Leap of Faith,’ his first since 2009. Glenn Frey’s death has had a cathartic effect on many of the Eagle members, causing each member to re-evaluate their priorities. Timothy says this album was inspired by the loss of Glenn, causing him to ponder his own mortality.
Metallica used the World Wide Web to do something unusual. The band streamed their Minneapolis August 20th concert free (it had been sold out anyway) in a deal with the music platform Pandora.
Finally Ozzy Osbourne is being sued by the co-writer of “Crazy Train” for unpaid royalties. Bob Daisley claims he still owned $2 million from the sales of the song.
