We love fun facts. Here are a few cool things you may not have known about your favorite rockers and their songs…
Brian Wilson played Mike Love his new material/songs in late 1965, which was a departure from what they were currently recording. Mike hated the material, asking who on earth would ever listen to that rubbish? Brian said “the ears of a dog,” which made Brian name the album Pet Sounds as an inside insult.
Although hidden in the album credits and studio paperwork, it was Eric Clapton that laid down the guitar solo for the George Harrison classic “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”
David Gates wrote a song called “Everything I Own,” which fans assumed was a love song. It was of sorts, written about his father, which he penned in tears three minutes after his mother called to tell him of his dads death.
