Young Thug Gets Hit With More Charges

According to abcnews.com, Young Thug is facing additional gang related charges related to a grand jury indictment in Fulton County, Georgia, that ultimately led to the arrest of Young Thug in May on gang related charges. Young Thug was originally charged with two counts, but was indicted this month on six more charges according to documents obtained by ABC News.

On top of the two original counts of conspiring to violate the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and taking part in criminal street gang activity, Young Thug now faces a charge of participating in street gang activity, three counts of violating the Georgia controlled substances act, and possession of a firearm while committing a felony as well as possession of a machine gun.

According to an ABC affiliate in Atlanta, the district attorney’s office stated the charges stem from arrests made on March 17th and May 9th that included a search warrant of Thug’s home on the night of his arrest on May 9th.
